Every person enrolled in a law paper at Victoria University of Wellington is automatically a member of VUWLSS. This means that we will advocate on your behalf, and that you can enter our competitions and attend our social events.
To really get the most out of your law school experience, though, we recommend that you both sign up and become a member on our website and purchase a membership card.
Signing up as a member on our website allows you to access the members area – you can download our publications, register for our events online and participate in our discussion forums. Additionally, we can better inform you of our upcoming activities and events that are relevant to you. Signing up is free and requires only that you click the Become a Member panel to the right of this text.
Membership cards are currently available to be purchased from the law school office for $20. A VUWLSS membership card has real value for our members. It entitles you to free entry to our Law Steins, discounted and preferential entry to other social events, as well as discounts and deals at local businesses around law school. Think cheap drinks and lunches. VUWLSS promises real value for your hard-earned money!
