Advocacy and Representation
The Executive of VUWLSS includes two Education Officers. These Officers are tasked with advocating on behalf of and representing the interests of all law students at Victoria University of Wellington. To fulfil this aim, they attend monthly Faculty meetings and provide general and specific advocacy on education-related concerns. Minutes and related documents from these meetings are available to download online from our member’s area.
VUWLSS members are also members of the New Zealand Law Students’ Association (NZLSA). NZLSA advocates nationally on behalf of the interests of all law students regarding legal education in New Zealand. More information is available at www.nzlsa.co.nz.
